Elegant and contemporary, Namb's Judaica line designed by Marilyn Davidson includes such ceremonial items as a menorah, mezuzah, Kiddush cup, bread knife, and this Seder plate, all made of brightly polished metal. The Seder plate, measuring 14 inches square with rounded corners and a slight rim, features six raised Hebrew letters, representing the names of each symbolic food for the Passover Seder. A slight well formed by each letter holds a small mound of the food in place for the ceremonial dinner. Washing the plate by hand rather than in a dishwasher preserves the beautiful shine of the metal, which will not tarnish, crack, or chip and is safe for freezer- and oven-use (but not microwave). The Seder plate comes gift-boxed and makes a handsome present for a new household.
